# How to link your HDFC bank account to e filling income tax for e verification through net banking

As i am a working guy in a private firm and i didn't get time for these simple works like posting a post in a post office. recently I faced this problem so I  wanted to share with you.

earlier we used to send the print copy  to IT office Banglore but now we can escape this process by

 # 5 simple steps



Step 1: Login to your HDFC Net banking account and click on the “Accounts” tab and look for an option “Income Tax e Filing” under “Request” in the left side.

Step 2: When you select your account Number, click continue to proceed and this will take you to Income Tax Department website dashboard directly there you have to select the “View Returns/ Forms” option

Step 3: After selecting the option “Click here to view your returns pending for e-verification”
 
Step 4: Select the option “e-verify” on the right side

Step 5: Once you clicked e-verify, a pop-up window will appears. You need click “Continue” to generate EVC and to get your income tax return verified. Finally you get a confirmation message with transaction ID and EVC code
